We STILL Need You!

Access-by Design are still recruiting for people of all ages who consider themselves disabled, use assistive technologies or have particular needs when browsing the internet (such as very long sighted, dyslexia or even advanced technophobia (!) ) to join our team of website testers.

This is a paid job!

We are looking for:

• People who use the internet regularly
• People who have anything from the odd hour to spare to those who would like as much work as we can pass on!
• We would prefer it if testers had as little knowledge of coding or web design as possible – we are looking for  normal website users  – not web experts!
• Help and support is given – we just need to get to know you and your needs.
• Testers can live anywhere! All testing should be done on your usual home computer so where that computer is doesn’t matter.
• The test we ask you to do on a website will take no more than one hour.
• You do not need to know anything about disability in general.
• You do not need to know anything about web accessibility.

Are you a carer of someone who enjoys using the internet with your help – perhaps someone with a special need or ABI?

• If so, we need you too!  As you browse the internet together you will also know what makes a good website for both you and the person you care for.
• Both the disabled person AND their carer will be paid, separately.
• Proof of carer status may be requested.

Sadly we cannot provide web assistance equipment. User must use their own computers.
