I had an idea for a new business selling musicals on-line to schools and theatre groups. It was a daunting prospect and I needed a company that could help forge a way forward. LL Pianos

Little and Lampert is a piano tuner and importer in Harrow, northwest London, selling and delivering pianos nationwide. They came to us a few years ago for a website, which we developed, but this did pose us a specific challenge because the owners are blind.

We were able to arrange for testimonials to be uploaded onto the site via email so that James could still update his site using his existing computer software. This was a solution for testimonials, but after a couple of years James felt that he really wanted to market the website more extensively and use it to sell pianos online.

Access by Design was delighted to take the opportunity to develop a system tailored to the needs of our client and this particular commission was something we had never done before.

Polly, one of our team of talented web designers, set about creating an administration panel which could be navigated by James and allow him to use PayPal as the payment gateway for selling pianos online. He is now able to upload photographs and a description of each piano and apply a PayPal button to the product, enabling him to reach more customers than ever.

We were delighted with James’ comment:

North Mundham Parish Council

I would like to thank all the staff at Access-by-design for providing North Mundham Parish Council with a user friendly, professional looking website, which was built and launched in a six week period.

For a small parish council with only just over 1000 electors in the parish we are amazed at the amount of traffic being generated on the site and the contacts we have received through the site in only a few weeks since its launch .

… I am delighted to advise that we have been commissioned by the London firm of Architects … on their West Sussex project and also now by a London firm of Solicitors to provide QS services on a Brighton building project that has unfortunately not gone according to expectations.

Both these commissions strengthen our local client database, provide opportunities to expand into wider markets which was our website brief to you, but more importantly, both came as a result of reviewing our website.

We are all delighted to receive such commissions, but to achieve this within 6 weeks of the RBC website going live is fantastic.

I do not know how this new site, www.snorban.co.uk, could be bettered. It is excellent.

AlphaPet has used Access by Design for the last 2 years for our website and we are extremely happy with the results and the value for money.

Originally, we had tried to DIY our site, but website design and SEO is a specialist task. With our internet presence becoming an ever more important part of not just our advertising, but also our communication with existing clients, we realized that to keep our site up to date both visually and technically, we needed professional input. Clive had contacted us a while before, so we thought we’d give him a go! And we certainly don’t regret it! Not only do we have a visually stunning, bespoke site, but it is so simple for us to keep up to date ourselves. I now regularly update the site from wherever I am using my iPhone or my iPad!

Recently we had a major visual overhaul to keep us looking fresh and up to date, but it ended up with adding all sorts of great new features, in particular, a private Staff Area which will house our Practice Handbook for staff protocols.

Customer support is excellent and I would thoroughly recommend Access by Design to anyone needing a great looking website that exceeds your expectations and will keep you high up in the search engine lists with their automatic SEO system.
